BILAN 2018-2019
BILAN 2018-2019 Cette année 2019, Enfants Sourds du Cambodge a : - Effectué deux missions, la 35ème et la 36ème. Au total, 20 bénévoles français et belges ont participé aux missions accompagnés par les équipes cambodgiennes. Un grand merci aux 7 nouveaux qui ont rejoint ESC cette année 2019 ainsi qu’aux nouveaux enseignants cambodgiens qui s’impliquent de plus en plus. - Effectué la mission 35 avec les deux ORL de l’hôpital humanitaire Kien Khleang à Phnom Penh. Davy TOUCH et Kim SROUN ainsi que leurs nurses nous ont accompagnés durant la mission du mois de Février. Malheureusement le directeur de l’Hôpital a décidé de ne pas donner suite à cette collaboration. - Installé une salle d’audiométrie insonorisée dans l’école de Kompong Cham (en cours). Chacune des 5 écoles est maintenant équipée d’une salle d’audiométrie insonorisée. - Continué la formation des équipes cambodgiennes pendant les missions, formation pratique, et pendant la période de formation des enseignants en septembre/octobre, formation théorique. - Etabli et signé un contrat de partenariat et un contrat de projet pour 3 ans avec KROUSAR THMEY CAMBODGE. - Participé le 1er juillet à la cérémonie officielle de transfert des écoles au gouvernement. - A reçu d’Amplifon, leader mondial de distribution d’aides auditives, l’Amplifon Leadership Award pour son action humanitaire de développement au Cambodge, - Et du Gouvernement Cambodgien pour son implication au Cambodge la médaille de l’Ordre Royal de Sahametrei. ESC est à un tournant de son existence, les deux années à venir vont s’avérer essentielles sur la façon de poursuivre son action au Cambodge. Artisans Angkor is a company dedicated to the preservation of traditional Khmer skills in silk-making, stone and wood carving, lacquering and painting, but it is also an organization committed to promote the development of individuals and secure their future. Since 2005 this quality crafts workshop located in Siem Reap, trains deaf girls and boys of the Krousar Thmey school. More than thirty former students are currently employed.

Cambolac is a Siem Reap based handicraft company designing and manufacturing lacquer ware souvenirs. Cambolac employs vulnerable poor populations and hearing impaired young adults to manufacture and sell Cambolac original designs and genuine picture in lacquer and hand paint souvenirs
Our association Deaf Children of Cambodia continues to bring care to these young craftsmen, former students of the Krousar Thmey school for deaf children.

Each year, on the five schools for deaf children, we have about a hundred new children to fit in addition to renewals of already fitted children:
- Renewal of earmolds or hearing aids,

Tax deduction
The association Deaf Children of Cambodia is an nonprofit humanitarian organization: your donations are tax deductible within the limits of the law. Thus your gesture of generosity towards the deaf children of Cambodia allows you to get a tax credit on a part of your donation. A tax certificate will be sent before March 31 of the year following your payment.
