Assessment at 5 years
After the mission of June 2006: in 5 years and 10 missions, we examined
246 children at the school of Phnom Penh,
134 children at the school of Siem Reap,
12 children in integrated classes,
99 children at the school of Battambang,
57 children at the school of Kompong Cham.
Out of the totality of the schools, 145 children left (parents removal) and 14 children don't wear any more hearing aid: too frequent losses or refusal to wear the hearing aid. Out of the 389 children from 4 to 18 years old examined during this mission, 40% benefit from digital devices. Out of the 60% of fitted analog devices, 45% are new devices.
